My family moved to Hudson in 2016 for the same reason many Hudson families landed here: to provide the best education for our kid. My daughter is in the Class of 2030 and has experienced the best of Hudson–its teachers, staff, and administrators. We have relished in the incredible opportunities available to our daughter and have moved from Evamere to Ellsworth Hill, survived virtual learning through Covid-19, celebrated every minute at East Woods, and are now at the incredible Middle School. My daughter is thriving because of the phenomenal resources, talent, and care that is provided to her daily in our schools.  

 

I am reminded of the Latin phrase in loco parentis, or, instead of parents. When our kids are not learning from us, we can only hope they are learning from and being cared for by the best experts within the best environment. Hudson Schools and teachers have set a standard for drawing out the best capabilities and characteristics in our kids. I hope to support this and help continue the growth of Hudson Schools through a position on the School Board. I firmly believe our children–and those who follow–are our greatest investment.
